Chromastone

"Holy moly, it's Chromastone!" - Chromastone in A New Dawn

 

 Chromastone is a Crystalsapien from the planet Petropia. He first appeared in the Ben 10: Alien Force episode All That Glitters where fought against some energy-drained high school girls. Chromastone was destroyed in Vengeance of Vilgax: Part 2 and reformed into Diamondhead, however he was re-unlocked in the Ben 10: Ultimate Alien episode Fame where he was defeated by Bivalvan. 

Chromastone briefly appeared in the Ben 10: Omniverse episode Trouble Helix where he was a test subject for Blukic and Driba's new weapon. He didn't appear again until the final episode of Ben 10: Omniverse, A New Dawn, where he tried to retrieve the Anihilaarg. He later briefly appeared while Ben was cycling through almost all of his aliens. Chromastone was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. Eric Bauza voices Chromastone in Omnivese.

Appearance

Chromastone is tall slander silicon-based life form whom is magenta in color. He has purple crystals on his back, arms, chest and head as well as one green eye. The Omnitrix/Ultimatrix is located on his chest.

Chromastone's first design Ben 10: Omniverse looks almost identical to his older incarnation, but his crystals are more pink in color and his back crystals are longer. His second design is slimer and has bigger shoulders, now with a crystal protruding from it. He now has crystal spikes on the side of his head, knees and arms. Chromastone now wears a green suit and has gauntlets on his legs and wrists. He now has a mouth guard. The Omnitrix symbol is located on his right pectoral.

Powers and Abilities

Chromastone is able to absorb and redirect a various type of energy in large quantities in the form of ultraviolet beams. He can also simply redirect the energy right back as it is. Chromastone is able to create force fields, has the ability to fly.

Weaknesses

Chromastone can't absorb too much energy at one time, or else he will disintegrate. Chromastone is able to be smashed down into small pieces until the Omnitrix is able to come off.
